I recently saw people asking about whether or not the City of Superior would be doing a bagged leaf collection like they usually do.  Here's the answer.

The city of will spend the first of half November picking up bagged leaves from private properties along their usual garbage collection route - following a day-specific schedule.

In general,  all leaves must be bagged and tied.  Homeowners

should place the bags on the alley or street where normal garbage collection occurs, clear of traffic and garbage cans.  Leaf bags are to be free of other debris such as wood, paper, garbage, and plastic. Bags containing other debris will not be picked up and disposal will be the responsibility of the residents.

Brush and grass clippings will not be picked up. These can be brought to the landfill. Grass clippings are always free and brush is $5.00 per car, truck or trailer load. A car-truck with trailer full is $10.00.

Leaves can be brought to the Superior Municipal Landfill on Moccasin Mike Road, free of charge all year round.

Hours at the Superior Municipal Landfill are 8:00 AM to 3:40 PM Monday through Friday and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Bags containing items other than leaves will be charged normal landfill rates.
