February 4, 2013 5:40 PM Valentine’s Day is coming February 14th, and to help the Northland to better understand the history and how to correctly celebrate I have hit the road for another Chris Crossing and asked kids, What is Valentine’s Day About? What is Love? Who is Cupid? Surely, they know everything!
I think it’s a day most men feel they have to make amends for all the wrong they have done in the world in a year and make up for their wife or girlfriend in one day. A Day women are shown their real value. Actually it might be an ancient tradition for people to get high off candy and chocolates.
Forrest Gump would have a field day with this one. Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Maybe another quote Forrest should add, the bigger the box, the more trouble you are trying to get out of.
Whatever you may think Valentine’s Day is or should be, wait till you hear what kids think.
