Central Entrance-Highway 53 Resurfacing To Begin September 8; Area Near Walmart To Be Impacted

Expect delays and lane restrictions on Central Entrance near Walmart beginning Tuesday, September 8.  Crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will begin a project on that stretch of Highway 53 that will bring improvements to the roadway.

Traffic will be reduced to single lanes while the workers work on ADA improvement and signal system upgrades.  The scope of the project will also include resurfacing.

Most of the work will occur near the intersections of Arrowhead Road, Stebnar Road, and Cirrus Drive.  There will also be lane closures as the roadway is paved south of Haines Road to just south of Midway Road.

Work on the project is expected to be complete by late October.
