The 13th annual Cathedral School Panther Pant 5K Walk/Run happens Friday, June 2 in Superior.  This event is an excellent way for runners to put their winter training to the test at the onset of the upcoming marathon season.  This years event also promises some new surprises as well.

The race begins and ends in the parking lot of Cathedral of Christ the King in Superior, just off of Belknap Street at Grand Avenue.  The starting gun fires at 6PM.

The 5K is open to all skill levels.  Seasoned runners will find a course that allows them to test their time and endurance - while beginners will enjoy the low-pressure atmosphere.  Walkers are also welcome and encouraged to take part.

One of the popular side-events from years past is returning;  the Panther Pounce - a special race designed just for the little ones (think pre-K or early grade school) will happen just a little before the 5K starts - with a start time of 5:30 PM.

This years Panther Pant promises a festival atmosphere with a variety of food available for sale, games, and a bounce house.

The Panther Pant is a fundraiser for the schools art, music, and Spanish programs.

Cost is just $25.  To register, click here.
