Come with a dirty car and your change!!  The Cathedral School 5th graders are holding a car wash in the parking lot of Cathedral of Christ the King parish in Superior, from 2 til 3:30 PM on Wednesday, September 25;  All proceeds will benefit the Walk To End Alzheimers.

Cost is just $5 per vehicle;  Donations will also be accepted in a five-gallon pail which will also be passed along to the cause.

The car wash is easy to get to - the parking lot is just north of Belknap Street at Grand Avenue.

The fifth grade class and Mrs. Nielsen’s family have paired with The Benedictine Health Center located at St. Scholastica to help raise as much money as possible for the cause.  It also goes hand-in-hand with the aspect of service, which is one of the core principals of Cathedral School's mission.  Already this year, Mrs. Nielsen's students have stenciled reminder messages about run-off near storm sewer drains in the area.  In years past, her class has also worked to paint and beautify Wade Bowl Park in Superior, along with many other projects.  Throughout the year, students in all grade levels participate in service projects that greatly benefit the community.

The Walk To End Alzheimers will be held on Saturday, September 28 in Palucci Hall at the DECC.  Registration begins at 9 and the walk itself starts at 10AM.
