Second Volunteer From Duluth’s Red Cross Chapter Assists With Hurricane Sandy Relief
The Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross has sent a second volunteer to assist with Hurricane Sandy storm relief efforts. The Duluth-based chapter has announced that Sandy Dettweiler from Brimson, Minnesota joins John Schiefelbein of Ely - who was deployed on Saturday. Thousands of people from across nine states have taken refuge from the impact as Hurricane Sandy hits the East Coast; The Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross is a part of the effort.
