Aerosmith, ‘What Could Have Been Love’ – Song Review

If you want more guitars, more ‘Legendary Child,’ more of the much-hyped Jack Douglas sound of Aerosmith‘s rockin’ ’70s, then their new single is not going to satisfy. You might be better off checking out the band’s other new song, ‘Lover Alot,’ instead.

‘What Could Have Been Love’ is the AC radio hit the group needs to reach a wide audience and sell a ton of copies of ‘Music From Another Dimension‘ on Nov. 6.

Aerosmith, ‘Lover Alot’ – Song Review

‘Lover Alot,’ one of two new songs released simultaneously today from Aerosmith‘s upcoming album ‘Music from Another Dimension,’ proves the band can still deliver stripped-down rock with the best of their peers.

Aerosmith Unfold Their Wings at Cleveland Concert

Throughout most of Aerosmith‘s concert in Cleveland, Ohio Tuesday night (June 19), a single square panel of the circular video screen above the band refused to fall in line with the rest of the display, broadcasting random colors instead of say, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry in action.

Touch Of Grey, Grateful Dead, Rayman’s Song of the Day[VIDEO]

I'll take you back to the early seventies with the  Grateful Dead. Hundreds attended a free concert held at Winterland in San Francisco. Among other things free apple juice was handed out. Unfortunately the juice had been spiked with LSD. Most had good trips, fifty or so didn't and were rushed to the hospital.

Joe Walsh, ‘Lucky That Way’ – Song Review

Joe Walsh has been a good friend to country music over the last five years, frequently appearing on tracks from artists like Kenny Chesney and Kix Brooks, and jamming with Brad Paisley at award ceremonies. Now Nashville is returning the favor, helping Walsh cut his first country single.

Big Brother & The Holding Company Featuring Janis Joplin, ‘Live At The Carousel Ballroom 1968′ – Album Review

Big Brother & The Holding Company were an established rock band prior to Janis Joplin fronting them, and in June of 1966 when she auditioned for the band, things didn’t gel instantly.

Joplin’s gritty blues vocal seemed to clash with the heavy, psychedelic, free form tendencies of the group. Still, Joplin quickly adapted and once she got the hang of what Big Brother expected the lil’ gal from Texas blossomed, elevating herself and the band to a new intergalactic dimension.

Spotify App Doubles Streaming Quality

This is great news for Spotify users, I being one of them. I thought the quality  was really good before, but now it's doubled, and, they have not increased the price. I became a Spotify member when it first came to America, and love it to death. Spotify is the future of music for the masses in my opinion. The days of "ownership" are fast coming to an end, much the same as the cd, cassettes, 8 track, and even vinyl. Try it for free on their site...it was great and now it's even better.

Presidents and Their Women. JFK’s Bathtub Babe

I thought this post timely as the Republicans are campaigning to see who will be their presidential nominee.  The "Holier-than thous" love creating a stir about this candidate slept with this person, and that candidate slept with that person, do we really want that type of person in the White House?

Political candidates and Presidents are not saints, in fact far from it, I for one see nothing wrong with that. It's common knowledge that past Presidents, Roosevelt, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Clinton to name a few had a tryst or two during their time in office. Do you honestly think it had any effect on how they ran our country?
