The careful news follower has already heard about the expected rise in prices at the grocery store due to this summers harsh drought conditions across the country.  What you may not have expected was how this dry season will affect prices at the gas pumps...

MSNBC political activist Ed Schultz has been busy in the last few days, attacking presidential candidate Mitt Romney for his international investments.  Schultz has critiqued Romney's Swiss Bank accounts as "unpatriotic" and "un-American".  Apparently Canada isn't a foreign country.

Thanks to his support of civil rights, Bill Clinton has been wryly dubbed by some as “America’s first black president.” But chances are good Morgan Freeman disagrees with that — in fact, he says even Barack Obama doesn’t qualify for the title.

President Obama’s former pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah Wright delivered a sermon just two miles from the White House. The Daily reports that Wright was particularly critical of African-Americans educated in and shaped by white America.

Apparently $98.5 million dollars from the Federal Government wasn't enough to get Nevada Geothermal Power's solar-panel company off the ground.  Just like Solyndra (which received $535 million dollars from taxpayers), the alternative energy company looks like it's going to fail...

As so many Americans are walking away from properties, and companies being bankrupt when they can't unload some land. The government is finding they own buildings  and they have let them go. Run down and vacant buildings are being paid for by taxpayers.

Now that the Supreme Court has weighed in on the legality of the Affordable Care Act, food service executives are beginning to weigh in on what the ramifications will be for their industry. The news is not good. The Obama campaign has been catching grief lately for suggesting that wedding guests donate money to his 2012 presidential run in lieu of more traditional gifts. However, their latest campaign gambit to combine love and politics is likely to be a bit better received.

Apparently there isn't enough cash in the coffers for the Obama campaign.  In a new fundraising campaign, Obama directs Americans to consider giving up their wedding, birthday, and special event presents;  Instead, he wants citizens to convince their loved ones to donate to his Presidential campaign instead...
