When the trailer of ‘Bourne Legacy’ begins, we get a shaky glimpse of Jeremy Renner. The actor, who’s taking over the ‘Bourne’ series for Matt Damon is identified as Kenneth Kitson, and he is looking quite the worse for wear.
For Beach Boys fans, the story of drummer Dennis Wilson has long been one of rock’s most tragic tales, but to the larger record-buying public, his tumultuous life and untimely death has remained largely unknown. That looks set to change next year with ‘The Drummer,’ a biopic starring Aaron Eckhart as Wilson and Vera Farmiga as his onetime paramour (and former Fleetwood Mac keyboardist) Christine McVie.

Then: Jonathan Ke Quan’s first acting gigs were in two of the most memorable movies of the ’80s. He starred as Short Round in ‘Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom,’ and as Data in ‘The Goonies.’ He was also brought on during the fifth season of ‘Head of the Class‘ to portray Jasper Kong, but his previous magic didn’t rub off, and the sitcom was cancelled.
It’s hard to believe that Harrison Ford has never seen any of the ‘Indiana Jones’ movies. And yet, here he is recently watching the original trilogy in wide-eyed wonder. (Apparently, even Indy himself wants to pretend that ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’ never happened.)
But as many YouTube commenters have pointed out, something seems fishy about this video.
We can expect a lot of mash-ups and clever edits with ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ trailer that debuted last month. We’ve seen one with cats, and now there’s a new one, which combines scenes from the classic Disney film ‘The Lion King’ with the audio from the trailer for the next Batman flick.
It’s a mash-up that somehow manages to be both scary and…adorable!
