Just say the word marathon and my confidence level drops.  I have run several half marathons and am currently training for another, my goal is always just to finish.  That's because I think just finishing is an unrealistic goal for me.  I never thought about an inline skate marathon until Skeeter Moore showed me how easy it could be.

I stepped out of my comfort zone and allowed myself to be videoed while being cupped.  You may be familiar with the term but not understand what it means.  The art of cupping has been around for centuries but it had it's Olympic moment last year in Rio when the marks cupping leaves was seen on Michael Phelps, the decorated US Olympic swimmer.

I see this fashion all the time in the Twin Ports, especially at concerts. Women wearing shirts with the shoulders cut out. Sometimes they have a plunging neckline, sometimes they are button up, but I see them everywhere on women. I asked a woman I met at a radio party what it was, and she said cold shoulder. I was very lucky to be invited to be in the studio with Breanne Marie and the Front Porch Sinners while they recorded their new Kickstarter Project called "Wildflowers And Tumbleweeds". I Drove to Sparta Minnesota and got to hang out with the band and even be a tech geek behind the shoulder of engineer and owner of Sparta Sound, Rich Mattson.

Which of your favorite artists would you bring back if you could? Would it be a favorite? With so many great artists lost, it's an interesting question if you also try to explain the reason why. Shari and I even tell why we picked the artists we did, and Shari challenged me not to bring back Prince. Who do we choose?

I talked a little bit about this on the air this morning, but I wanted to talk more about it. I am seeing online that people think Adrian Peterson chose the New Orleans Saints because he wanted to come to Minnesota and rub our noses in the fact that we didn't pick up his option and cut him. Kate Kucinski is the Public Relations Director for Grandma's Marathon, which means she handles any races that are associated with Grandma's Marathon and the Young Athletes Foundation. Kate is hard to talk to on race day because she has so much to do. So do all the volunteers for the race.
