WCCO did a great story on John Shuster and the USA curling team, but in order to get some of the coolest shots the photojournalist used small cameras to get interesting points of view. Then he put it all together.
I heard from John Shuster, he is excited to be in the Olympics. This year is different. The first time, he won a medal and there was all the excitement that comes with that. The second time, not so fun. Dead last and frustration from the showing he had and the benching.
Bruno Mars did not receive one penny for his Super Bowl performance. He is paid in publicity. That means, Paul McCartney, Beyonce, KISS, Prince, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers all performed without getting paid. Here's how it works:
According to a recent poll, one in four Americans believe God has an influence over who wins sporting games. That praying helps shove those odds up even higher, or so they say. Half of Americans that took the poll, said God rewards sports stars that are religious and pray often. Ok, so how do you explain Tim Tebow? He is still trying to get back in the NFL.
Would you recognize a star in the public? I don't know if I would. I started combing the internet for videos of stars in disguise. Did they fool anyone, they did, every time. Jenny made another visit to the show to talk animals, specifically, the PET OF THE WEEK. This week it's a fun little kitty named Schwinn. They go out of their way to name them with a unique name and this guy looks like his namesake, a unique cat.

There is always a football player that has to ham it up in the end zone to celebrate a score. Remember the "Dirty Bird"? With the Super Football Game coming up on Sunday, I thought it would be fun to see the evolution of end zone celebrations.
Bob Gustafson visited today to talk about deadlines. Can you believe Grandma's Marathon is this close. Made me smile thinking that the hot summer and the race will soon be upon us. Here's what Bob had to say.
