The Thanksgiving holiday is fast approaching and if you're finding yourself without a  proper turkey dinner to celebrate, the Carlton County Disabled American Veterans wants to help.  In appreciation for supporting Carlton County Veterans, the DAV is hosting its 2nd annual free Thanksgiving Dinner at the Zion Lutheran Church in Cloquet on Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, November 22.  The sit down dinner will happen between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

In addition to the meal served at the church, the organization will also deliver to homebound individuals between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM; for more information, call 218-590-4027.  The meal is open to all residents in Carlton County, but free will donations are accepted and appreciated.

The Carlton County Disabled American Veterans are proving the Thanksgiving meal with help from the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Aerie #1163 Cloquet, B&B Market, Community Printing, Cloquet Labor Temple, and the Irving Community Club.

The Zionn Lutheran Church is located at 1000 Washington Avenue in Cloquet.
