Can Of Worms Ramp Inspection Work Happens April 19 & 20

One of Duluth's busiest interchanges will see some orange cones on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week as crews with the Minnesota Department of Transportation inspect ramps and bridges at the Can of Worms on I-35.

Here are the details of the closures:

• Tuesday, April 19:  From 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM the ramp from northbound I-35 to northbound Highway 53 will close.
• Wednesday, April 20:  From 9:00 Am to 3:00 PM the ramp from northbound Highway 2 to northbound I-35 will close.

The inspection work is part of MNDOT's annual review of ramps and bridges and helps to ensure that the state's infrastructure is sound.
