Brule Hosts Pie & Ice Cream Social To Aid Food Shelf

Food shelves are down all over as more people are in need of the basics. This Sunday, May 4th, a Pie & Ice Cream Social will be held at the Brule Town Hall from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The event is sponsored by and benefits The Rural Care & Share Food Shelf. Families in need from Poplar, Lake Nebagamon, Brule, Maple, Lakeside, and Amnicon use their services, and all proceeds from the event go to the Food Shelf.

A free will offering is encouraged, and did I mention all the pies are homemade? I Hope to see you there enjoying the scrumptious pie and ice cream!
