They don't call them a Dynasty for nothing. The Brooks Family Blues Dynasty is Chicago's first family of Blues.  The head of the family is Lonnie Brooks whose been playing, recording, and writing for close to sixty years.

His oldest son Ronnie started playing when he was only 9 years old, and in 1998 earned a WC Handy Award nomination for Best New Blues Artist. Youngest of the family is Wayne who has earned five awards from Real Blues magazine, and a four star review for his 2003 effort "Mystery". Wayne has also played for the First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, written the book "Blues for Dummies", and headlined at festivals and clubs the world over.
