Boxed Water Could Replace Bottled Water; New Product Provides Another Portable Option

Jupiterimages

Bottled water might be convenient – but even if the containers get recycled, they still contribute a large amount of waste to our landfill systems.  A new product might help to alleviate some of the problem with a container made of a material that’s more recyclable.

The Boxed Water company delivers its product in a paper carton – much like milk used to be.  It’s creators claim that the paper carton offers a smaller carbon footprint and is more sustainable that it’s plastic bottle competitors.

The company also donates part of the profit to charities.
