The earliest-known written works of Bob Dylan are joining the collection at the Minnesota Historical Society.  Two handwritten poems - long saved by a high school friend - will join other artifacts of the Nobel Prize winner from our area.

The poems were written by Dylan (then known as Robert Zimmerman) in 1956.  Prior to joining the MNHS collection, they were publicly part of the Museum of Pop Culture's traveling exhibit:  Bob Dylan's American Journey, 1956-1966.  They were recently put up for sale at auction.

Along with being made available to visitors, the works have been digitized and are accessible online at the MNHS website.
