Blatnik Bridge Ramp Closure To Affect Drivers Starting September 11

Drivers who use the Blatnik Bridge will want to know about a ramp closure scheduled for Wednesday, September 11.

From 9 AM to 3 PM, the ramp from northbound I-535/Blatnik Bridge to northbound I-35 will close for a scheduled bridge inspection.  Motorists will be detoured on northbound Highway 53 to 21st Avenue West.  At the 21st Avenue West interchange, traffic will be directed back to southbound Highway 53.  Then, they'll use the exit to northbound I-35 at the "Can Of Worms" intersection.

Motorists may also use the Bong Bridge as an alternate route.

The inspection is expected to only last for the listed hours.  A rain-date of Thursday, September 12th has been established.
