Blatnik Bridge Lighting Open House Scheduled For August 29th

Twin Ports residents will get their first chance to see the new lighting system that is being proposed for the Blatnik Bridge at an open house on Wednesday, August 29th.

This summer, workers removed the ornamental lighting system that had lit the bridge for the last 15 years or so.  A variety of plans have been suggested for replacement and Department Of Transportation officials are requesting input from the general public.

The open house will be held at MnDOT Headquarters:  1123 Mesaba Avenue, Duluth MN 55811 - in Conference Rooms A and B between the hours of 5 PM and 8 PM.  Specific presentations about the lighting design alternatives will be held at 5:30 PM, 6:30 PM, and 7:3o PM.
