It's not over yet!  In what seems like a never-ending cycle of bridge work and inspections over the last ten years here in the Twin Ports comes this news:  Minnesota Department of Transportation workers will be performing their annual inspection of the Blatnik Bridge.  The first day on the schedule is this Saturday, October 3.

From 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, Superior-bound traffic will be reduced to a single lane.  Workers aim to reduce the impact to traffic due to the ongoing Superior-bound closure of the Bong Bridge.

This inspection is part of MNDOT's work to ensure the the bridge is reliable and safe for all transportation needs.

A second round of inspection on the Blatnik Bridge is scheduled for November.
