The once-in-a-lifetime flood in the Twin Ports may have ocurred in 2012, but the repair marches on.  One project that will affect motorists in the Twin Ports area will happen Friday, October 18.  Officials with the WLSSD will continue their project to repair a portion of its Scanlon interceptor line.  This work will necessitate the closing of Becks Road for the day.

Signage will direct drivers to use alternate routes as the crew removes a temporary pipeline that was placed under the roadway in the period directly following the flood in June 2012.

Work is expected to be completed within the day and the road should be open to traffic by nightfall.
