Banquet Salisbury Steak Recall

Con Agra's Banquet Foods is recalling select, family-style versions of their popular Salisbury Steak frozen entrees - due to concerns that they may be contaminated with "extraneous materials, specifically bone".  The United States Department of Agriculture is reporting that the recall involves the 27-ounce, 6-count "Family Size" packages.

The recalled packages in question were produced on March 10, 2018 and have lot codes 5006 8069 10 05and a "BEST BY" date of SEP 01 2019 printed on the package.  The recall occurred after Con Agra received several consumer complaints and three specific reports of minor oral injuries.   Examples of the affected codes and product labels are available by clicking here.
