This song was inspired by an incident in 1973 when the band were performing in Scotland and were driven offstage by a barrage of bottles thrown at them.
Quentin Tarantino was considering using this song in a scene in Reservoir Dogs but went with the Stealers Wheel’s ”Stuck in The Middle With You” instead.
