Avenue Closure Near Walmart In Cloquet To Affect Traffic Starting August 6

The Gillette Avenue entrance to Walmart and other area businesses in Cloquet will close Wednesday, August 6 for seven days. Traffic will be directed to the Doddridge Intersection and to an alternate entrance to the stores.

The entrance closure is necessary as crews install new concrete pavement.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slowdown in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
