Here's more than you ever cared to know about me.I'm a "lifer".  ...Born and raised on Minnesota's Iron Range...moving to the Twin Ports area 20 years ago.I've worked for these radio stations for18 years and love every minute of it.  Although you hear me on the radio during the mid-day, my main role is Production Manager for our stations - writing and producing commercials. In my spare time (what's that??)  I'm married with one child.  I'm active in my son's school and volunteer in the community.  I love to cook and have collected records for my entire life.  Although I spin "the Super Hits Of The Northland" on the radio, my collection is mostly comprised of classic country.   I'm also interested in business and economics. Thanks for listening!!

Are Baby Carrots Good For You? Do Baby Carrots Contain Chlorine? The Truth About These Man-Carved Vegetables

As the resident "Foodie" in the building, I was recently asked about those baby carrots you find in the grocery store.  You know the ones that I'm talking about:  small, roundish-looking carrot chunks that are sold in clear plastic bags - ready-made for instant snacking.  My friend wanted to know if they were any better or worse for you than "non-baby carrots";  They also inquired about the viral rumor that the carrots contain massive amounts of chlorine.
