Here's more than you ever cared to know about me.I'm a "lifer".  ...Born and raised on Minnesota's Iron Range...moving to the Twin Ports area 20 years ago.I've worked for these radio stations for18 years and love every minute of it.  Although you hear me on the radio during the mid-day, my main role is Production Manager for our stations - writing and producing commercials. In my spare time (what's that??)  I'm married with one child.  I'm active in my son's school and volunteer in the community.  I love to cook and have collected records for my entire life.  Although I spin "the Super Hits Of The Northland" on the radio, my collection is mostly comprised of classic country.   I'm also interested in business and economics. Thanks for listening!!

Officials Call Off The BirkieTour; Look Forward To The 40th Annual Event In February

The lack of good quality snow has led the American Birkebeiner Ski Foundation to cancel the BirkieTour that was scheduled for this Saturday, January 19th.  That snow deficit has led to poor trail conditions and skier safety concerns.  Even though additional snow is in the forecast for the next day, that new snow would be quickly sheared off - especially on downhills - exposing the solid ice trail base and creating hazardous ski conditions.
