Rayman

I've been in Twin Ports radio close to twenty years. I started in November of 1995 on talk radio WEBC AM 560. I joined the Kool 101.7 staff in 1998 and became the Afternoon Drive personality in 2001. In 2005 I was honored to receive a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD by the MINNESOTA ROCK AND COUNTRY HALL OF FAME, now the MID AMERICA MUSIC HALL OF FAME. I was born in Cleveland ohio and raised in Duluth. Although I've traveled to all but two of the fifty states, and lived in ten of them, I'm proud to call the Northland my home. Thank you for sharing part of your afternoon with me on Kool 101.7 over the years.

Viewers averaged nearly 134 hours of live TV viewing a month in 2013, down nearly three hours from 2012.

The 20 Feet From Stardom Documentary, The Real Story of Background Singers [REVIEW] [VIDEO]

I recently read the article in Rolling Stone Magazine titled Rocks Greatest Unsung Voices by Simon Vozick-Levinson. Rolling Stone rated it at 4 stars. I rate it at 5. If your  a music fan, you no doubt are familiar with the term "background singer." Darlene Love, Mary Clayton, and Lisa Fischer to name a few of the better known. As I've always said, "a background singer can make or break a live performance." With that in mind, it's my hope you'll either rent or buy the 20 Feet From Stardom documentary.
