Hugh Jackman is riding high these days, with his robot boxing film ‘Real Steel’ hitting number one at the box office. But the 42-year-old Aussie decided to take himself down a notch during a interview with Rachael Ray that will air Friday, rehashing an old story about a very embarrassing accident at his first-ever live show.
There is no timeline for the release of the film, at this point, since potential script writers are being considered. Universal doesn’t intend the film be a sequel or a remake, but rather a re-imagination that draws from the themes prevalent in both Al Pacino’s notorious version of Scarface and the original 1932 Howard Hawkes-directed ‘Scarface.’
