Aretha Franklin Gets Engaged

The Queen of Soul released a statement Monday she is now engaged to longtime friend William "Willie" Wilkerson. Aretha, who is 69, has been in two marriages prior to this engagement. Along with the announcement, she joked "I am not pregnant".

The announcement (via the Associated Press) says the couple became engaged over the holidays. Aretha says she is looking at a summertime wedding - possibly in Miami Beach.
