Live music isn't just for the weekends. The sound of music can be enjoyed all week long here in the Twin Ports.

I have been going out to open mic night for about two years now in the Twin Ports.  In that time I have hosted them,  play at them as a solo set, and with friends. Meeting new people, hearing their own music, and enjoying covers we love is a blast!

You can find an open mic gig most any night- not just the weekends. Pick up the free papers at the grocery stores like the Reader and look at the ads and you will find one.

So grab your bongo’s, guitar, flute, or whatever and head on out and be part of the local scene. Or you can just sit back with friends and a beverage and enjoy.

Get out and support live entertainment, who knows who you will see?  It could be the guy next door, or your bank teller. You won’t know until you get out to discover what great talent we have right in our own hometown.
