Animal Allies Needs Help With People And Pets, Pet Of The Week Meeko
Jennie was on the phone with me this morning and we talked about adopting animals. One of the best things that you could do when looking for a pet to give to someone is a gift certificate. If you don’t match the pet and the person very well, you could create a nightmare for the owner and/or the pet.
We also talked about Animal Allies needing help. They need volunteers to help with people that want to take pets home. They have trained people that help with animals and they may need help there too. Jennie says they really need help with the public. A greeter, or someone who matches pets to people. If you think you have a talent for it, give them a call.
Then Jennie talked about the Pet of the Week, she says, “Meeko is a super cute white and black Chihuahua mix who is about 6 years old. This adorable little guy is sweet and a bit shy at first but once he gets to know you he can be quite spunky! Meeko is looking for his new forever home preferably without children or other dogs. He is reported to get along well with cats and likes to go for rides in the car. He is also reported to be house trained. Meeko has been neutered microchipped and vaccinated. If you would like to adopt this sweet little guy please come visit him at Animal Allies at 4006 Airport Road or call 218-722-2110!
