Adrian Peterson and Matt Kalil Star in New Commercial for the ESPY Awards With AP Calling Himself “Wolverine” [VIDEO]

The 2013 ESPY Awards are this week, and Adrian Peterson is in the running for a few different awards; including Best Male Athlete and Best Comeback. As AP continues his campaign for the awards, he and blocker Matt Kalil appeared in a new commercial for the award ceremony.

In the commercial, Adrian and Matt compare the resilient characteristics of the X-Men character Wolverine and the seemingly superhuman Peterson. The 2013 ESPY Awards are Wednesday, July 17 at 8 pm (Central) and will be hosted by Jon Hamm of the TV series Mad Men.
