Do the NFL's biggest stars listen to the new AC/DC when they're trying to get pumped up before a game? Maybe, maybe not, but that's what they're listening to in the new commercials for Beats by Dre.

The popular headphones turned to three players whose teams entered the weekend in the playoff hunt -- Richard Sherman of the Seattle Seahawks, Dez Bryant of the Dallas Cowboys and Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, which you can watch below -- for their latest spots, which depict the men using Beats to tune out the rantings of sports talk radio (led by the voice of syndicated host Jim Rome). After listening to a litany of their shortcomings, Sherman, Bryant and Miller slide on their headphones and turn up AC/DC's 'Play Ball.' (Somewhat ironically, the band has endorsed its own non-Beats headphones.)

The spot, which arrives as part of Beats' ongoing "#HearWhatYouWant" campaign, is timed not only to remind viewers about NFL playoff action, but to help get the word out about the company's new line of Solo2 Wireless headphones, which cut the cord by connecting to the listener's audio player via Bluetooth. This is far from the first time that Beats have turned to sports stars as pitchmen; last year, a different array of athletes appeared in a series of commercials that depicted them tuning out angry crowds by listening to Aloe Blacc's 'The Man.'

It's also not the first time 'Play Ball' has been used in sports-related marketing. As fans may recall, the song also served as part of the promotional campaign for postseason baseball in the days leading up to last year's World Series. You can check out the full-length Beats promo above.
