Steve Miller was born on this day in 1943.  Steve was turned on to music by his father, who  knew stars like Les Paul, whom he brought home from time to time. In fact Les Paul taught young  Steve some guitar chords and let him sit in on a session. From that point on, Steve Miller was hooked.
