Believe it or not, we came up with this blog while driving through the state of Wisconsin. Blueberries

As a young girl I still remember going with my father to find rocks in Carlton to look for blueberries.  (apparently that's where they grow more abundantly) More went in my mouth than the bucket, but hey, I was young.  In fact, the Minnesota State Muffin is the Blueberry Muffin! [more]

    Lutefisk

It's a staple for some in the Northland during the holidays.  I had it as a child and really liked the cream sauce on potatoes, I guess as an adult I should try it again and actually eat the fish.  Several churches in the area will hold Lutefisk feasts, I'll hit one of them up next year and do a review!  Why am I apprehensive?  The definition of lutefisk is:  A Scandinavian dish prepared by soaking dried cod in lye to tenderize it, then skinning, boning, and boiling it to a gelatinous consistency.
