21st Avenue East Intersection To Close Starting August 23

Construction work on 4th Street will result in the closure of heavily-used intersection at 21st Avenue East - starting August 23.  The project is part of the total rebuild of 4th Street.  A detour will be posted directing drivers to use 24th Avenue East and Kent Road.

According the St. Louis County, an estimated 17,000 vehicles travel through this intersection each day.  Drivers should anticipate delays and slow-moving traffic in the area until work is complete.
