2013 Empty Bowl Fundraiser Happens April 15th and 16th

The annual Empty Bowl fundraiser to benefit Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank happens this year April 15th and 16th.  This years event is two days - with a sneak-peek Monday evening and the actual luncheon on Tuesday - at the Duluth Depot.

At the Sea Of Bowls-Empty Bowl Preview Night on the 15th, you'll have the opportunity to get first choice on the bowls available in the gallery-style showing, complete with a reception.  Bowls range in price from $25-$100.  The Sea Of Bowls happens from 5PM-7PM.

Then on Tuesday the 16th, the actual Empty Bowl event happens - from 10AM-6:30PM.  You'll have the opportunity to select a beautifully-handcrafted bowl that has been created by area artists, school children, and community members.  Your meal includes delicious soups, breads, and a beverage - donated by some of the best chefs and purveyors in the region.
